On Thursday, July 3, 2025, Homicide Bureau investigators arrested a male adult related to the January 6, 2025, murder of Irene Gaw-Lai which occurred on the 2600 block of Lorain Road in the city of San Marino.
The victim’s husband, Yoon Lai MO/62, was arrested earlier today in the city of San Gabriel.
The case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Suspect Lai is being held on a no bail warrant.
