INCIDENT: P.C. 664/187(a)- Attempt Murder, P.C. 245- Assault with a Deadly Weapon
LOCATION: 13000 block of Maywood Street, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Angelica Riojas, 34-year-old resident of Apple Valley
SUMMARY: On Sunday, June 22, 2025, at approximately 2:51 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the 13000 block of Maywood Street for multiple reports of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, deputies located two victims with multiple injuries. Additional victims were transported to local hospitals prior to deputies arriving. Through investigation, deputies learned several subjects attended a party at a residence in the 13000 block of Maywood Street. During the party, multiple fights occurred at the location involving attendees.
Angelica Riojas arrived at the location to pick up her brother. Riojas stood outside her vehicle, and a female subject confronted Riojas which led to a fight. As Riojas walked away to get in her vehicle, several individuals continued to follow and punch her. While inside her vehicle, Riojas produces a box cutter injuring multiple subjects. Riojas left the scene prior to deputies arriving but was later contacted at the hospital.
Angelica Riojas was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center, in Adelanto for P.C. 664/187(a)- Attempt Murder, P.C. 245- Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
