Press Release: Police Investigating Fairfield Man’s Death as a Homicide; Seek Tips

On June 18, 2025, at approximately 11:42 PM, Fairfield Police Officers responded to a 911 call reporting a physical battery that had just occurred in the 300 block of East Tabor Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located a man, later identified as 23-year-old Fairfield resident Juan Carlos Robles-Perez, on the ground and unresponsive. Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene, and Mr. Robles-Perez was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by medical staff.
 
Fairfield Police Detectives took over the investigation and continue working diligently to determine the circumstances surrounding Mr. Robles-Perez’s death. The incident is being treated as a potential homicide. There is no known threat to the public at this time, as it’s believed the victim was likely known to the perpetrator.
