Prescribed Burns on Fitch Mountain – June 18
The Healdsburg Fire Department, in collaboration with CAL FIRE and Northern Sonoma County Fire District, is conducting a prescribed burns in the Fitch Mountain Open Space Preserve.
These prescribed fires are key tools in our wildfire mitigation strategy and are the result of hundreds of hours of site preparation.
Smoke will be visible
Fire crews will be on-site throughout the day
Burns are weather- and resource-dependent
