Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult.
Century Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the 11000 block of Linden Street regarding a burglary in progress call for service. Upon their arrival, deputies located a male adult suffering a gunshot wound.
An alleged suspect was struck by gunfire and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
During their investigation, Homicide detectives learned approximately five male suspects wearing all black clothing entered the residence at approximately 1:26 AM. The suspects became startled by the presence of residents and ran from the location. While fleeing, a suspect shot an unknown firearm at the residence.
The suspects were last seen running northbound on Linden Street and out of view.
This investigation is ongoing, and there is no additional information available at this time.
