INCIDENT: Obstructing or Resisting an Officer and Battery on a Police Officer
LOCATION: Alder Street/ Peach Avenue, Hesperia
SUSPECT(S): Alfredo Arcila, 34-year-old resident of Hesperia
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On June 6, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m., deputies with the Hesperia Police Department responded to an unwanted subject call for service and contacted Alfredo Arcila, 34-year-old resident of Hesperia. Arcila was detained in the patrol vehicle while deputies conducted a records check. Arcila began to hit his head on the window of the patrol vehicle and was subsequently removed to prevent him from harming himself. As Arcila was removed from the vehicle, Arcila bit the deputy on the thigh.
Arcila was arrested and booked into High Desert Detention Center for PC69(a)- Obstructing or Resisting an Officer and PC243(b)- Battery on a Police Officer.
