On 5/18/25, Janesville Police Department officers recieved information regarding a wanted person in the 2000 Block of South Osborne Ave. Justin Gillespie had active warrants through the Janesville Police Department and the Beloit Police Department. After Gillespie failed to comply with patrol officers, Janesville SWAT was activated. Gillespie was taken into custody inside the residence.
Gillespie is currently being held at the Rock County Jail.
