On Friday, April 21, 2023, at approximately 11:56 P.M., Pico Rivera Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call for service on the 9400 block of Stephens Street, in the city of Pico Rivera. Upon their arrival, deputies located a male victim, later identified as German Gomez Medina, suffering from gunshot wounds to his body.
Victim Medina died at the scene.
Investigators located surveillance footage which captured the suspect’s vehicle (pictured above) traveling west on Stephens Street toward Durfee Avenue and out of view. The vehicle appeared to be occupied by multiple occupants.
Two occupants are described as male Hispanic adults, both wearing baseball caps with the letter “P,” and a third occupant is described as a female Hispanic. Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the occupants of the suspect vehicle.
