Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding a shooting death investigation in unincorporated Gardena.
On May 6th, at approximately 12:40 AM, deputies from South Los Angeles Station responded to the 14700 block of Crenshaw Boulevard, in unincorporated Gardena, regarding a call of gunfire heard in the area. Upon arrival, deputies encountered a male adult suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel transported the male to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
A second male adult victim was treated for a gunshot wound at a local hospital and released.
This investigation is ongoing, and there is no additional information available at this time.
