Los Angeles County Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into a shooting death of a male adult in Los Angeles.
Deputies from East Los Angeles Sheriff's Station responded to the 1100 block of Eastman Avenue in Los Angeles regarding a gunshot victim call for service. The incident occurred on Friday, May 2, 2025, at approximately 11:03 p.m.
Upon arrival, deputies learned the male victim, suffering from gunshot wounds, was transported to a local area hospital by family members.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Investigators learned deputies had located evidence of the shooting on the 3600 block of East Meisner Street. Additionally, a dark-colored sedan was observed leaving the scene immediately after the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing, and currently, there's no information available at this time.
