VICTIM(S): AmeriGas
SUMMARY: On April 29, 2025, Deputy Alvarez responded to the AmeriGas Company in Adelanto where over 200 propane tanks were stolen from the location.
The Adelanto Multi Enforcement Team and the Detective Bureau promptly began investigating the theft. Four search warrants were served in the Lancaster and Victor Valley areas.
During the warrant service, nine individuals were arrested on felony charges, and investigators recovered over 200 stolen propane tanks, several illegal firearms, and identified 11 confirmed stolen vehicles. Further details will be provided once the investigation concludes.
On March 31, 2025, AmeriGas reported a similar incident where over 100 propane tanks were stolen from the same location. Investigators issued and executed a search warrant in the Palmdale area, resulting in the recovery of 160 propance tanks.
