INCIDENT: PC 664187: ATTEMPTED MURDER
LOCATION: Springs Road/ Merdian Road, Lucerne Valley
SUSPECT(S): Unidentified Male
VICTIM(S): Adult Male
SUMMARY: On Thursday, May 1, 2025, deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to a report of a male who was shot in the back near Rabbit Springs Road and Meridian Drive.
During the investigation, deputies learned the victim was walking on Rabbit Springs Road when he was shot by an unknown male. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The suspect has not been identified and no arrests have been made.
Deputies conducted a follow up at the incident location and recovered a stolen vehicle. Deputies determined the stolen vehicle is not related to the crime.
