INCIDENT: Possession of Narcotics for Sales, Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed, Altering a Firearm, Carrying a Stolen Loaded Firearm and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
LOCATION: 18600 block of Lilac Street, Hesperia
SUSPECT(S): Luis Padilla, 33-year-old resident of Hesperia
SUMMARY: On April 28, 2025, at approximately 11:23 a.m., investigators from the Hesperia Police Department assisted in serving a search warrant on the 18600 block of Lilac Street, in the city of Hesperia. During the service of the search warrant, the suspect, Luis Padilla, 33-year-old, resident of Hesperia, was contacted and identified as the homeowner. A search of the residence was conducted resulting in the location and recovery of (2) stolen pistols, (5) assault rifles, large-capacity ammunition magazines, ammunition including armor piercing rounds, suspected narcotics, items indicative of drug sales, and (1) stolen Jeep Gladiator.
Padilla was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center for HS11351-Possession of Narcotics for Sales, HS11370.1(a)- Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed, PC23900- Altering a Firearm, PC25850(2)-Carrying a Stolen Loaded Firearm and PC496d(a)-Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.
