INCIDENT: Commercial Burglary
LOCATION: 13850 City Center Drive #5057, Chino Hills
SUSPECT(S): Devonte Moore, an 18-year-old resident of Victorville,
Deprice Battles, an 18-year-old resident of Rialto,
Confidential Male, a 17-year-old resident of Victorville
VICTIM(S): Sunglass Hut
SUMMARY: On April 26, 2025, at approximately 2:00 P.M., deputies responded to a commercial burglary in progress at the Sunglass Hut, located at 13850 City Center Drive in Chino Hills. Seven suspects entered the store and stole 100 pairs of sunglasses valued at approximately $30,000.
The suspects fled in two separate vehicles at a high rate of speed. One of the suspect vehicles was located and pursued until the vehicle became disabled in the county area of Fontana. Three suspects fled from the vehicle. Two adult and one juvenile suspect were located and arrested. During a search of the suspect vehicle, 72 pairs of stolen sunglasses were recovered. Devonte Moore, an 18-year-old resident of Victorville, and Deprice Battles, an 18-year-old resident of Rialto, were both booked for commercial burglary at the West Valley Detention Center. A 17-year-old resident of Victorville was booked for commercial burglary at San Bernardino County Juvenile Hall. The investigation is ongoing.
