On April 26, 2025, at approximately 1:56 AM, a Simi Valley Police unit observed a vehicle in the area of Erringer Rd. and Cochran St. driving without its headlights on. When the officer ran the license plate, he discovered it was a stolen vehicle. SVPD units attempted to initiate a traffic stop and the vehicle fled from the officers and a pursuit ensued through the city. The driver lost control, ran off the roadway and rolled the stolen vehicle in the area of First St. and Flower Glen St. Three female juvenile occupants were found in the vehicle and had sustained significant injuries. The juveniles were subsequently transported to a local trauma center to be treated. The juveniles (1 thirteen and 2 fourteen years of age) are residents of Simi Valley and charged with 10851 VC - Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, 182 PC – Conspiracy, 2800.2 VC – Felony Evading, and 466 PC – Possession of Burglary Tools and subsequently released to hospital staff and their guardians.
