LOCATION: Circle K, 18465 State Highway 18, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): 17-year-old male of Apple Valley
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, April 13, 2025, deputies with Apple Valley Police Department were dispatched to Circle K on State Highway 18. Employees at the store reported a male subject had stolen beer from the location.
The investigation revealed the subject fired a handgun at a customer as the customer attempted to stop him from leaving the store. Deputy R. Grissom assumed the investigation to identify the suspect.
A 17-year-old male from Apple Valley was identified as the suspect in this case. On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at about 9:00 am, he was arrested and was booked into High Desert Juvenile Detention Center.
