The Green Bay Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle head-on crash with injuries on Velp Avenue. Drivers are asked to find alternative routes until the roadway reopens.
Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Velp Avenue and Wilson Avenue on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, just before 7:00 p.m. for the crash.
At this time, three people have sustained serious injuries and are receiving medical treatment.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
We ask that drivers find alternative routes and utilize N. Platten Street and Gray Street as detours.
