Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult in unincorporated Los Angeles.
Deputies from South Los Angeles Sheriff Station responded to the 10500 block of South Budlong Avenue, in the unincorporated area of Los Angeles regarding an assault with a deadly weapon/gunshot victim call for service. The incident occurred on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 3:51 p.m.
Upon their arrival, deputies detained a male adult as a person of interest in the case and a firearm was recovered. During the initial investigation, deputies discovered that the male adult person of interest and victim knew each other, there are no outstanding suspects.
