VICTIM(S): Baps Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Temple
SUMMARY: On Saturday, March 8, 2025, at approximately 9:13 a.m., deputies responded to a report of vandalism at the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir temple in Chino Hills. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the temple administrator, who reported that unknown suspect(s) spray-painted graffiti containing political messages on the temple’s marble sign, a nearby brick wall, and a city sidewalk.
The estimated cost of repairs exceeds $15,000. No video surveillance was available, and no suspects have been identified. Deputies notified Chino Hills Code Enforcement of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
