Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating suspect Arturo Gonzalez Jr. who is wanted for murder.
On Saturday, February 22, 2025, the victim was killed in his apartment on the 100 block of West Olive Avenue in Monrovia. Homicide detectives identified Arturo Gonzalez Jr. as the suspect in the murder. Gonzales is the son of the victim.
Gonzalez is believed to be transient. He frequently uses public transportation and utilizes the Metrolink train system. He has been seen in the Long Beach, Lakewood, Hawaiian Gardens and Norwalk areas after the murder. He is also known to frequent Pasadena, and Altadena areas.
