On March 3, 2025, at approximately 9:30am, patrol officers responded to the area of East End Ave. and E. Third St. regarding the discovery of human remains in the storm drain. Due to the circumstances, Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit (MCU) also responded to the scene to conduct an investigation. The identity of the deceased and cause of death will be determined by the LA County Medical Examiner's Office. No other information will be provided at this time. The investigation is on-going.
