Today, February 23, 2025 at approximately 4:08 am a stolen vehicle was spotted by DPS heading south on highway 277, between Christoval and Eldorado. Otis Babb, a wanted felon, was confirmed to be operating the stolen vehicle and an Hispanic female, possibly Sandra Zaragoza, also a wanted felon, was seen as a passenger. DPS attempted to stop the vehicle which resulted in a pursuit onto CR 300 and then into the YFZ Ranch in Schleicher County. The stolen vehicle was abandoned by Babb and he is now on foot. Otis Babb is a wanted felon from Sonora Texas for evading arrest with a motor vehicle. DPS, along with Schleicher County Sheriff’s Office are actively searching the area where Otis Babb was last seen. Babb is known to be armed and dangerous. If seen should not be approached and 9-1-1 should be called immediately to report his whereabouts.
