Advisory
Report Number: 25-681
On Monday, February 10, 2025, at 3:34 PM, Culver City Police rushed to a disturbance call at the 13400 block of Washington Boulevard. A suspect was reportedly harassing employees at the location and jumped over the counter, entering the kitchen area of the restaurant and disrupting the business operations. The suspect was reported to be armed and threatening employees.
When an Officer arrived, he witnessed the male adult acting aggressively toward an employee and advancing toward her, backing her into a corner as she continued to move away from him. Without hesitation, the Officer took immediate action, telling the suspect to back away, but when he did not comply, the Officer placed himself between the suspect and the woman to stop the attack. The Officer moved the suspect away from the victim and placed him in custody.
The Officer learned that when employees had attempted to remove the suspect from the kitchen area, the suspect had grabbed a female employee, committing a sexual assault. When the employees tried to lock the suspect out of the restaurant, he jumped over the counter and sexually assaulted another female employee. The suspect was arrested and booked at the Culver City Jail. Charges have been filed for sexual battery, and the suspect was ordered to remain in custody until his next court date.
