Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of two male adults in Athens Park. The incident occurred on Friday, January 30, 2025, at approximately 8:00 p.m.
Deputies from Century Sheriff's Station responded to the 13200 block of Jarvis Avenue in Athens Park regarding a report of possible gunshot victims at the location. Upon arrival, deputies located two male adults at the location suffering from gunshot wounds. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and transported the males to a local hospital where they were pronounced dead. Deputies learned of four additional male adults and one male juvenile who were also injured by gunfire, they were treated at area hospitals for non-life-threatening wounds.
The investigation is ongoing, and currently, there’s no additional information available at this time.
