Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a male adult in the city of Lancaster.
Deputies from Lancaster Sheriff Station responded to the 1700 block of E Avenue J in Lancaster regarding a person down call for service. The incident occurred on Friday, January 24, 2025, at approximately 4:16 p.m.
Upon their arrival, deputies discovered a male adult suffering from stab wounds. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded, and the victim was transported to a local hospital.
Shortly after the initial call for service, Lancaster Station deputies conducted a follow-up investigation and detained a person of interest who was possibly involved in the assault. Deputies additionally recovered an edged weapon from the scene and there are no outstanding suspects. During this time, the victim was pronounced deceased at a local hospital.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide investigators responded and assumed control of the investigation. The investigation is on-going and there is no additional information available at this time.
