The Green Bay Police Department has arrested a 38-year-old Green Bay man suspected of stabbing a 57-year-old Green Bay woman in a reported domestic disturbance on New Year’s Eve.
Officers were dispatched on December 31, 2024, around 11:15 p.m. to a residence in the 1600 block of Harold Street. Upon arrival, officers rendered first aid to the victim who was then transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. On scene, police also learned that the suspect had fled. Shortly after, he was taken into custody during a traffic stop in another jurisdiction by the Wisconsin State Patrol. On January 1, 2025, the suspect was brought to the Green Bay Police Department for questioning in the domestic disturbance incident, arrested, and taken to Brown County Jail.
Green Bay Police will be referring charges to the Brown County District Attorney’s Office.
