INCIDENT: Armed Barricaded Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Kidnapping Suspect
DATE: Tuesday, December 17, 2024
TIME: Approximately 11:00 p.m.
LOCATION: 21800 block of Water Street, Carson
SUSPECT: Male Adult
UNIT: Special Enforcement Bureau- Lieutenant Dave Auner
NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) personnel are responding to assist Lakewood Sheriff's Station with an armed barricaded assault with a deadly weapon and kidnapping suspect. The incident was reported on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at approximately 11:00 p.m., on the 21800 block of Water Street in the city of Carson.
SEB personnel will assume tactical command and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) is attempting to make contact with the suspect to bring this to a peaceful conclusion.
The surrounding homes have been evacuated for the safety of the residents.
