Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult in Whittier. The incident occurred on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at approximately 12:11 a.m.
Deputies from Norwalk Sheriff's Station responded to the 14000 block of Leffingwell Road in Whittier regarding a report of a gunshot victim at the location. Upon arrival, deputies located a male in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. Los Angeles County Fire paramedics responded and transported the male to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
