After an extensive coordinated effort among numerous members of the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau along with additional units from within the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Homicide investigators are announcing the arrest of Miguel Sandoval, a 19-year-old resident of Lancaster, for the murders of Edwin Garcia, Christine Aca-ac, Matthew Montebello, and Janvi Maquindang.
Investigators have been extensively investigating the murders that occurred during the early morning hours of Saturday, November 16, 2024, at a residence located on the 44500 block of Tabler Avenue in the city of Lancaster.
Investigators believe this was an isolated incident. The case is still being actively investigated and no further details about the case will be shared in order to maintain the integrity of the investigation.
The case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration on Monday, November 25, 2024.
The investigation is ongoing, and currently, there’s no additional information available at this time.

The victims were pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics.
