Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a female adult in the city of Bellflower.
Deputies from Lakewood Sheriff Station responded to the 9600 block of Rose Street in Bellflower regarding a family disturbance call of an assault with a deadly weapon. The incident occurred on October 30, 2024, at approximately 8:53 p.m.
Upon their arrival, deputies detained a male adult as a person of interest in the case. During the initial investigation, deputies discovered that the male adult person of interest was related to the female adult victim.
Deputies subsequently placed the male adult under arrest for the suspicion of murder, and there are no outstanding suspects.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics.
