On Monday, October 14, 2024, at approximately 2:50 a.m., officers from the Baldwin Park Police Department responded to a gunshots heard call for service near the 13800 block of Monterey Avenue.
The officers canvassed the area and discovered a Hispanic male adult suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso in the 13800 block of Kenmore Avenue. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information at this time.
