NARRATIVE:
On Saturday, October 12, 2024, at approximately 7:20 p.m., deputies from the South Los Angeles Station responded to a gunshot victim call for service in the 9400 block of South Normandie Avenue, Unincorporated Los Angeles.
When the deputies arrived on scene, they observed two male Black adults suffering from gunshot wounds to their upper torsos. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded and transported the two males to a local hospital. One male was pronounced dead, and the other was listed in stable condition.
There are no suspects outstanding, and the weapon(s) believed to be used were recovered at the scene.
This investigation is on-going and there is no additional information available at this time.
