Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male Hispanic adult.

El Monte Police Department Officers responded to the location regarding a shots fired call. Upon arrival, officers were flagged down and directed inside of the business regarding a gunshot victim. Officers entered the sports bar and found the victim lying on the ground with apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators confirmed a second gunshot victim was transported to a local hospital prior to the arrival of officers. The female Hispanic adult victim was listed in stable condition.

Witnesses stated a third gunshot victim left the scene and investigators are currently attempting to locate the female adult.

The investigation is ongoing. There is no additional information available at this time.

NARRATIVE:  
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are assisting El Monte Police Department regarding a shooting death investigation. The incident was reported Saturday, October 12, 2024  at approximately 12:09 a.m., on the 10700 block of Lower Azusa Road in the city of El Monte.
 
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
