INCIDENT: Barricaded Assault with a Deadly Weapon / Arson Suspect
DATE: Sunday, October 6th, 2024
TIME: Approximately 4:48 p.m.
LOCATION: 38000 block of 17th Street East in Palmdale
SUSPECT: Male Adult
UNIT: Special Enforcement Bureau
NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) personnel are responding to assist Palmdale Station with a barricaded assault with a deadly weapon and arson suspect. The incident was reported Sunday, October 6th, 2024 at approximately 4:48 p.m., on the 38000 block of 17th Street East in the city of Palmdale.
SEB personnel will assume tactical command and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) is attempting to make contact with the suspect to bring this to a peaceful conclusion.
The surrounding homes have been evacuated for the safety of the residents.
