On Friday, October 4, 2024, at approximately 5:37 a.m., deputies from the Lancaster Station responded to a 911 call of a gunshot victim call for service at the 40000 block of 176th Street East, Lake Los Angeles. 

When the deputies arrived on scene, they discovered two female Hispanic adult gunshot victims.  Fire Department personnel responded, treated the two victims, and transported them to a local hospital.  One victim was pronounced dead at the hospital, and the second victim is currently in stable condition.

During the Investigation, investigators learned there was a verbal dispute at the location, which then escalated. A female Hispanic adult suspect produced a firearm, shot at both victims, then fled the scene. 

This investigation is ongoing and no additional information is available at this time.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to the 40900 block of 176th Street East, in the city of Lancaster regarding a death investigation. The incident occurred on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 5:38 a.m.
 
The victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased.
