INCIDENT: Brandishing a Firearm Call for Service
LOCATION: 18000 Block of Valley Blvd. Bloomington, Ca
SUSPECT(S): Edgar Adrian Arriagamendiola, 36-year-old resident of Fontana

SUMMARY: On September 28, 2024, at approximately 6:29 am, San Bernardino County Sheriff's Fontana Station deputies responded to a brandishing a firearm call for service in the 18000 block of Valley Blvd of Bloomington. The suspect, who was positively identified as Edgar Adrian Arriagamendiola, brandished a semi-automatic handgun at the victim. The victim left the area and realized Arriagamendiola was following him in his 2013 Dodge 200, red four-door. Arriagamendiola drove his Dodge aggressively toward the victim, almost crashing into him several times. Arriagamendiola pointed his handgun at the victim, yelling at him to pull over. Arriagamendiola pulled his vehicle in front of the victim and forced the victim to stop. Arriagamendiola approached the victim and apologized, saying he thought the victim was someone else. Arriagamediola then fled the scene.
Deputies subsequently responded and conducted an investigation. After the initial investigation and identification of Arriagamendiola, a warrant for assault with a deadly weapon (firearm), false imprisonment, and brandishing a firearm, for Arriagamendiola's arrest was issued.
On September 29, 2024, at approximately 5:00 pm, deputies located Arriagamendiola in his vehicle in Fontana and conducted a felony traffic stop. Deputies detained Arriagamendiola without incident. Arriagamendiola had a loaded 9mm semi-automatic unserialized "ghost gun," pepper spray, stun gun, switchblade knife, and methamphetamine in his possession.
Deputies arrested Arriagamendiola for his warrant and charged him with the following crimes;
• HS11370.1(a), possession of methamphetamine while armed with a gun.
• PC29800(a)(1), felon possessing a firearm.
• PC24610(a), felon in possession of an undetectable firearm (ghost gun).
• PC25400, carrying a concealed firearm.
• PC25850, carrying a loaded firearm in public.
• PC22610(a), felon in possession of a stun gun.
• PC22810(a) felon in possession of pepper spray.
• PC21510, possession of a switchblade.
