INCIDENT: Armed Barricaded Suspect

NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) personnel are responding to assist Homicide Bureau with an armed barricaded suspect. The incident was reported Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at approximately 5:00 p.m., on the 1400 block of 131st Street in the city of Compton.
SEB personnel will assume tactical command and the Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) is attempting to make contact with the suspect to bring this to a peaceful conclusion.
The surrounding homes have been evacuated for the safety of the residents.
