On Sunday, September 22, 2024, at approximately 6:32 p.m., deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Station responded to a gunshot victim call for service in the 28800 block of Paradise Road, Val Verde.
When the deputies arrived on scene, they discovered three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced two male Hispanic adults dead at the scene and transported a female Hispanic adult to a local hospital. This incident appears to be domestic, and the suspect and victims were related.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators responded to the scene and are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident, an apparent murder/suicide, in the Val Verde area of Castaic.
There are no suspects outstanding, and the weapon believed to be used was recovered at the scene.
This investigation is on-going and there is no additional information available at this time.
