NARRATIVE:
On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at approximately 11:27 a.m., deputies from Lancaster Station responded to a gunshot victim call for service in the 700 block of East Avenue K.
When the deputies arrived on scene, they discovered a Black male adult suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators responded and are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of the Black male adult in the city of Lancaster.
This investigation is on-going and there is no additional information available at this time.
