LOCATION: 18300 Block of Montezuma Street, Adelanto
SUSPECT: Gerardo Palestino, 64 year of age, resident of Adelanto
VICTIM: Confidential Female Juvenile
SUMMARY: On Friday, August 16, 2024, the female juvenile victim reported to law enforcement that a male relative had been molesting her for the past two years.
Detectives contacted the suspect, Gerardo Palestino, at his residence on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 1:32 a.m. During the investigation, Detective C. Bennington was able to corroborate the victim’s allegations.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Gerardo Palestino was arrested without incident and booked at the High Desert Detention Center. He is currently being held in lieu of $500,000.00 bail.
