NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to the 11000 block Shasta Circle in Cerritos to investigate the circumstances regarding the shooting of a residential burglary suspect who was shot by the homeowner. The incident occurred on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 1:44 p.m.
The burglary suspect was treated at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire paramedics and transported to a local hospital where he is in extremely critical condition.
