LOCATION: Monte Vista Avenue / Phillips Boulevard, Unincorporated Montclair
SUSPECT(S): Daniel Santibanez, a 41-year-old resident of Pomona
VICTIM(S): Confidential Adult Female
SUMMARY: On Friday, July 19, 2024, Chino Hills deputies responded to a service call regarding a kidnapping that occurred in unincorporated Montclair. The adult female victim was involved in a domestic disturbance with her ex-boyfriend, Daniel Santibanez, a 41-year-old resident of Pomona. The victim claimed Santibanez forced her into his vehicle and drove her away against her will. The victim escaped the car near Pico Rivera in Los Angeles County. Deputies investigated and obtained an arrest warrant for Santibanez.
On Monday, August 5, 2024, Santibanez was located and arrested for the warrant and booked at West Valley Detention Center.
