Full Notification

On 8/1/24 at approximately 0730 hours, LAPD followed a stolen vehicle (from the Devonshire Division) into Simi Valley.  The vehicle fled into the county area (Santa Susana Pass Rd. / Katherine Rd.) and ultimately crashed near Clear Springs Rd.  Two unidentified suspects fled the vehicle towards a nearby field.  An LAPD Airship requested the assistance of the Simi Valley Police Department in locating and apprehending the suspects. 

At approximately 0826 hours, an SVPD Officer observed two male juveniles matching the suspect descriptions walking northbound on Katherine St.  The juveniles were contacted and positively identified as the driver and passenger of the stolen vehicle.  Both subjects are residents of LA County and were arrested for 10851 VC and 182 PC.  They were issued citations and released to their parents.
