Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male adult, in Compton. The incident occurred on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at approximately 3:24 A.M.
Compton Sheriff’s Station Deputies responded to the 700 block of W. 131st Street, Compton regarding a call for service of a person down inside a vehicle.
Upon arrival, the deputies saw the vehicle on the side of the street oddly parked. Inside the vehicle, in the driver’s seat, they found a male Hispanic adult, unresponsive, with gunshot wounds.
Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived on scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
The investigation is ongoing. There is no additional information available at this time.
