Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male adult.
On Tuesday July 23, 2024, at approximately 12:12 p.m., Century Sheriff’s Station Deputies responded to a rescue call for service regarding a male adult not breathing at an empty field on the 11400 block of Alameda Street, in the city of Lynwood.
When deputy personnel arrived at the location, they found a male Black adult inside a tent. Investigators learned that the victim had suffered trauma to his upper torso and had been deceased at the scene for several days.
The investigation is ongoing. There is no additional information available at this time.
