Good evening Barnegat, Jersey Central Power & Light is advising residents of Barnegat and Ocean Townships that crews will be performing emergency repairs at the substation serving our location, and this work will involve a temporary service disconnect to safely complete the work. The outage will begin at approximately 10:00 pm tonight and is expected to last until at least 6:00 a.m. tomorrow, June 27. Many customers who experienced outages earlier today may be out again during the overnight hours.
