Information on preparation for travel on Purdue campus during snow event

The Purdue University Physical Facilities Grounds Department, in preparation for inclement weather has pre-treated all campus roadways with a brine solution and all equipment has been staged for deployment. It is predicted that the area around campus will have bands of light snow beginning this evening and then turning heavier by very early morning tomorrow. The top levels of the parking garages on campus maybe closed to allow for snow removal during the heavy snowfall period. If the snowfall occurs as predicted, the Grounds Department will work throughout the day to clear roads, walkways, docks, and lots.

Please drive safely and allow extra travel time. If you do become stranded, stay in your car, put on your flashers and call for help.
