Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a female adult.
Deputies from Palmdale Sheriff’s Station responded to the 38000 block of 20th Street East in Palmdale regarding a welfare check call.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at approximately 8:13PM.
When deputies arrived on scene, they forced entry into the victim’s home after they discovered what they believed to be blood in the living room floor. Upon making entry into the residence, the victim, a Black female, 25 to 30 years of age, was discovered unresponsive and suffering from apparent stab wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, and currently, there is no additional information.
