Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Temple Station is seeking the public’s assistance with any information regarding a fatal hit and run traffic accident that occurred on April 27, 2024, at approximately 7:20 a.m. The accident occurred in the city of South El Monte, at the intersection of Chico Avenue and Garvey Avenue. A light-colored sedan struck a pedestrian in the cross walk and fled the scene.
