INCIDENT: Fatal Crash
LOCATION: Nisqualli Road / Sixth Avenue, Victorville
VICTIM(S): Esperanza Guerra, 44-year-old Female, Victorville Resident
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at approximately 11:23 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Station, and rescue personnel from the Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response, responded to a two-vehicle crash which occurred in the area of Nisqualli Road and Sixth Avenue in the city of Victorville.
Upon arrival, deputies determined that a gray Honda Civic and a red Freightliner Cascadia were involved in the crash. Despite life saving measures by first responders on scene, the driver of the gray Honda Civic succumbed to their injuries. The Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team responded and assumed the investigation.
Nisqualli Road between Seventh Avenue and Fourth Avenue were closed for several hours for the investigation.
